So, yes, I realize that it is January of 2026. How could I possibly have a list of 26 books already?

Well, I don’t.

Instead of waiting until the end of the year, when I probably will have forgotten about many of the books I read at the beginning of the year, I figured I’d start the list now. This way I can keep an ongoing list and update it monthly.

I also figured this could go along with my monthly book bracket (check out the first post coming Feb. 10).

There was an attempt to do this last year, but I was constantly forgetting about it and not remembering which book I liked better than the next. Unless one stood out over the others, it was a guessing game. I am determined to update the list while the reads are fresh in my mind.

Maybe I’ll keep a few notes to refresh my mind as the year goes on.
